    SDCC 2012 Update: Joss Whedon Panel

    Oh yeah! San Diego Comic-Con 2012 has been a blast, but we were excited beyond words to attend the Joss Whedon Dark Horse panel the other day. He talked about his plans for more Serenity/Firefly comics, his post-Avengers plans, and whether or not he’d be up for going back to TV.

    Firefly 10th Anniversary Panel

    The Firefly 10th Anniversary Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 was definitely one of the highlights of the show! Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, Jose Molina, and Tim Minear reunited for a hilarious, heartfelt panel that was a complete joy to experience!

    Rich Ellis Joins the Fight for Comics’ First Amendment Rights

    Rich Ellis ComicsRich Ellis is the newest exciting artist who has pledged to donate to our Fourth Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction event! Rich will create an original sketch for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund’s auction at San Diego Comic-Con, with all proceeds going to support the First Amendment Rights of the comics community.

    TFAW is proud to have worked with the CBLDF for the past three years, helping to raise more than $75,000. Founded in 1986, the CBLDF provides important legal support to comic book retailers, publishers, creators, and even fans. Help support the First Amendment Rights of the comics community and fight censorship by joining today!

    Periscope Studio artist Rich Ellis has received plenty of critical acclaim for his creator-owned series with Chris Roberson, Memorial. Issue #6 of six is out June 20 from IDW, so check it out now!

    Patric Reynolds Supports the CBLDF and First Amendment Rights

    Patric Reynolds ComicsWe’re happy to announce that artist Patric Reynolds is the latest addition to our Fourth Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction event! Reynolds is donating an original sketch to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, which they will auction off July 14 at San Diego Comic-Con. All proceeds support the First Amendment Rights of the comics community! Reynolds also donated last year–see his 2011 Punisher sketch, right.

    Fábio Moon Donates to TFAW’s CBLDF/SDCC Auction Event

    Fábio Moon ComicsHe’s doing it again! Fábio Moon will join our Fourth Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction event! This is the fourth year in a row that Moon will create an original sketch for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund’s auction at San Diego Comic-Con, with all proceeds going to support the First Amendment Rights of the comics community.
