Rich Ellis Joins the Fight for Comics’ First Amendment Rights

Rich Ellis ComicsRich Ellis is the newest exciting artist who has pledged to donate to our Fourth Annual SDCC Autograph Card/CBLDF Auction event! Rich will create an original sketch for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund’s auction at San Diego Comic-Con, with all proceeds going to support the First Amendment Rights of the comics community.

TFAW is proud to have worked with the CBLDF for the past three years, helping to raise more than $75,000. Founded in 1986, the CBLDF provides important legal support to comic book retailers, publishers, creators, and even fans. Help support the First Amendment Rights of the comics community and fight censorship by joining today!

Periscope Studio artist Rich Ellis has received plenty of critical acclaim for his creator-owned series with Chris Roberson, Memorial. Issue #6 of six is out June 20 from IDW, so check it out now!

Keep your eyes on this blog–we’ll be showing previews of all of this year’s CBLDF sketches. If you’ll be at San Diego Comic-Con, you can bid on the originals at the CBLDF auction. Plus, TFAW will be turning every sketch from this event into free, limited-edition autograph cards that we will be distributing at SDCC this year. Stop by booth #5625 to pick up your set, and make sure to attend the auction July 14 at San Diego Comic-Con!
